The APA Collection
The APA Collection is our compendium of the best commercials and branded online content of the year, selected by top creatives, producers, and directors. No categories and no rankings. It is our annual showcase of the best commercials and branded online content of the year from the UK. The Collection is seen around the world via digital distribution, as part of the Shots magazine, via events, which in recent years have taken place Amsterdam, Copenhagen, New York, Stockholm and Tokyo.
Winners are awarded the illustrious APA Collection Diamonds.
MEDIA
Once you have completed the entry from you will need to upload one image still (JPG), that you feel best represents your entry, and your video file (MP4).
MP4 Minimum Resolution: 1920 x 1080.
ELIGIBILITY
Commercials and branded online content (which include audio visual advertising material of 120 seconds or less) are eligible for the APA Collection provided that the production company, vfx company, editing company, sound design or music production company credited for the commercial is a UK based APA member and was first aired/shown in any media between 31st May 2022 and 1st July 2023.
Commercials and content that have been made or aired overseas are also eligible provided that the production company, VFX company, editing, sound design or music production company credited for the commercial is an APA member and with a UK office.
Music videos and short films will not be considered by the judges. All work entered must be no more than 2 minutes long. If they are over 2 minutes they will be removed from the judges list of entries to view.
COST
The fee is £135 plus VAT per entry. Once you upload your entry successfully, you will be able to pay by card and download an invoice. All entries will be will need to be approved by The APA to make sure they comply with the rules. They will be considered “pending” until approved, upon which a notification by email will notify that payment can be made and the entry is complete.
