Entry Deadline
Entries are open until 7th August and there will be no extension. Judging will then begin on the 8th of August. Keep an eye out for judges being released.
The APA Collection
The APA Collection is our compendium of the best commercials and branded online content of the year, selected by top clients, creatives, producers and directors. No categories and no rankings. It is our annual showcase of the best commercials and branded online content of the year from the UK. The Collection is seen around the world via industry showcases which in recent years have taken place in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, New York, Stockholm and Tokyo.
Winners are awarded the illustrious APA Collection Diamond.
ELIGIBILITY
Commercials and branded online content (which include audio visual advertising materials of 120 seconds or less) are eligible for the APA Collection provided that the production company, VFX company, editing company, sound design or music production company credited for the commercial is a UK based APA Member and was first aired/shown in any media between 1st July 2023 and 17th July 2024.
Commercials and content that have been made or aired overseas are also eligible provided that the production company, VFX company, editing, sound design or music production company credited for the commercial is an APA member and with a UK office.
Music videos and short films will not be considered by the judges.
All work entered must be no more than 2 minutes long. If they are over 2 minutes they will be removed from the judges list of entries to view.
Entry forms
When entering a piece into the collection, you must fill out all the credits within the entry form. This is essential to ensure that everyone involved in the piece is credited for their work.
If there are additional roles that are not included within the entry form, you will then have the option to upload an additional credits document.
If you do not complete credits within the entry form, you will not be able to proceed with your entry. If there is a role listed that was not involved in the project, please put N/A.
MEDIA
Once you have completed the entry form you will need to upload one video file (MP4).
This MP4 file must have a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and be 25fps.
COST
The fee is £135 plus VAT per entry.
All entries will be will need to be approved by The APA to make sure they comply with the rules. They will be considered “pending” until approved, upon which a notification by email will notify that payment can be made and the entry is complete. You will then be able to download an invoice and pay via card online.
